At the 2025 Chengdu World Games Wushu competition, Lu Zhuoling clinched the women’s Taijiquan–Taijijian all-around title in her very first appearance in the international stage, earning the Chinese delegation its first gold medal of the Games. She stressed that the “spiritual core” of Wushu lies in the ability to endure solitude and persevere through years of accumulation, and she hopes to promote the sport so that people around the world can appreciate its cultural essence.
